“All the staff works so well together, and made me feel that I was important, and they cared about how I was recovering.”
“I liked seeing the same therapist all the time. I didn’t feel like I had to tell my story every time I went to therapy.”
What is physical therapy?
Physical Therapy is the use of physical modalities to treat or prevent injury. Physical Therapists utilize heat, cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, laser, biofeedback, infrared or ultraviolet light, water, and other physical means including exercise to treat a number of conditions. Physical Therapists are trained in anatomy, physiology, neurology, movement sciences and assessment, manual therapy techniques to facilitate soft tissue maladies, as well as evaluation and assessment techniques to help determine the appropriate course of therapy for the particular ailment. Physical Therapists are licensed in the state in which they practice, and are required to maintain their practice status with ongoing continuing education credits each year.
Why choose Integrity Therapy Group?
Our therapists have experience in a number of practice settings including acute inpatient hospitals, nursing homes, home health, and primarily the outpatient setting. This allows us to consider a number of variables which may affect the outcome of the rehab experience. On the first visit to Integrity Therapy Group, the Physical Therapist will interview the patient to determine the nature of the problems, and then provide an assessment related to the patient’s concerns to determine the appropriate course of treatment specific to the assessment. We pride ourselves in providing “one-on-one” care with a personal hands on approach to treatment. We modify the treatment program according to the needs of the patient as their particular needs change during the course of treatment. We also provide information and education related to the particular difficulties the patient may have. We promise to listen, understand, and genuinely care about each and every patient that walks through our door. Our goal is to help you return to the highest level of function possible so that you can resume the things that are important in life, whether that be work, recreation, family time, or just relaxation. We understand that those things are important to you, and so they are important to us also.
